The way uniform is worn is as important as the uniform itself. Shirts should be tucked in with top button done up. Blazers are needed for all formal occasions including assemblies and lessons, and you should always wear your blazer around school unless specific weather relaxations are in force.
Hair should be of a conventional colour; longer hair should be tied back. Jewellery, including all piercings, is not permitted. You will be asked to remove any stud or ring regardless of whether the hole closes up or not.
Our uniform supplier is Monkhouse in Tunbridge Wells, who will have several 10% discount days during the summer - dates are on their website. They also have an appointment only day, again attracting a 10% discount. Uniform may also be ordered online. For further information, please check their website:
Second-hand Uniform Shop
Throughout the school year, the School Second-hand Uniform Shop acquires a whole range of school uniform, which is available to purchase.
To see the full selection available, simply make an appointment by contacting the school - either by emailing enquiries@skinners-school.org.uk or telephoning the school. All proceeds from the sale of Second-hand uniform goes to the school PA.
Items donated should be clean, in reasonable condition and handed in at Reception.
